On January 17, 2020, Jeremy Aguero was a featured speaker at the Vegas Chamber's annual Preview Las Vegas. Aguero's presentation addressed the current state of Southern Nevada's economy and the risk of complacency in the region's areas of success, including Southern Nevada's competitive tourism and convention sectors. Aguero also detailed some of the things to look forward to in 2020 including the area's strong convention calendar, the 2020 NFL Draft, the opening of Allegiant Stadium, the expansion of the Las Vegas Convention Center and LVCC Loop, the Pac-12 Championship, and the 2020 election. Additionally, Aguero highlighted some of the challenges that Southern Nevada faces including housing market stability, transportation concerns, the area's poverty, the ratio of English language learners to bilingual teachers, the fiscal economic divide, healthcare concerns, water infrastructure and public safety issues. Aguero then welcomed the audience into the Great Expansion.
