Energy Transmission Infrastructure Enhancement | Economic and Fiscal Impact Analysis
Applied Analysis was retained by NV Energy to evaluate the economic, fiscal and social impacts of the Greenlink Nevada Transmission Initiative, a transformative infrastructure investment aimed at modernizing and expanding the state’s energy transmission network. The analysis assessed the community benefits associated with the phased development of Greenlink West followed by Greenlink North, providing detailed estimates of job creation, economic output and long-term system resilience. As part of this engagement, Applied Analysis also provided expert testimony before the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada, outlining the project’s potential to strengthen grid reliability, accelerate the integration of renewable energy and support the state’s economic development goals. The findings served as a foundation for regulatory review and public understanding of one of the largest transmission investments in Nevada’s history. Greenlink Nevada is under construction today and is expected to begin coming online in 2027.
