Quantifying the Economic and Fiscal Impact of Las Vegas' First $1-Billion-Plus Event

In its second year in Las Vegas, the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix cemented its place as a mega-event for Southern Nevada. Race week drew 306,000 attendees, including nearly 175,000 visitors from around the world who spent more than $2,400 each on non-race activities, nearly twice that of the typical Las Vegas visitor. Total economic activity reached $934 million, including $556 million tied to visitor spending and substantial investments in infrastructure and operations. Beyond the numbers, the Grand Prix supports local initiatives and community programs and continues to deliver lasting benefits to the region’s economy and residents.
