Michael Scott Davidson
Senior Analyst
Michael Scott Davidson is a senior analyst at Applied Analysis. He joined the firm in early 2024, after working as a journalist in Southern Nevada since 2016. He most recently served as data editor at the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper.
Michael's research has served as the backbone for award-winning news coverage on topics including affordable housing, COVID-19 and traffic safety. He has experience analyzing data in Excel, QGIS and the R programming language.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism. He is currently working toward a master's degree in data analytics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
